DOMINANT FLAVOURS
A balanced, medium bodied Merlot with mulberry, plum, and toast on the nose. Soft tannins enhance the juicy fruit on the palate, with cherries and plums accented by notes of sage and liquorice.
WINEMAKING
This Merlot was vinified in a combination of open and closed top stainless steel fermenters to preserve the fresh fruit flavours. After fermentation, the wine was transferred to seasoned French oak barrels for a further 6 months.
